Campout & Cookout For Compassion 2023

The Motor City Mitten Mission will be hosting our 4th Annual MCMM Campout & Cookout for Compassion on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 AM to kick off “Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week” and to help raise money for all the Motor City Mitten Mission efforts to help the homeless and needy. 

Regardless of the weather-rain, snow or shine, the Motor City Mitten Mission and all willing participants will spend the night living like the homeless. We will cook out and camp out in the parking lot of the MCMM Home Office from 6:00 PM until 7:00 AM.  Participants are asked to get financial pledges and donations from their friends and family in exchange for their commitment to spending the night homeless. Every dollar raised will help the Motor City Mitten Mission’s programs that help those that are homeless and others in need. MCMM Programs include our Mats & Pillow Project, Street Outreach, Transitional Support Services, Macomb County Emergency Winter Shelter Program and H2H (Homelessness to Housing).
